Vinyasa Yoga

A dynamic practice focused on moving the body along with the breath. The experience in this class is one of fluidity and motion. Poses are generally held for short periods of time and emphasis on the rhythm of the breath is encouraged and the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind.

Ashtanga Yoga

This dynamic class comprises the classical form of Ashtanga Yoga as taught in its traditional sequence. It combines power and flexibility with movement, bandhas and breath to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice. During this class, the standing, seated, and finishing sequences may be shortened or modified. The Ashtanga opening chant is an intrinsic part of this Yoga tradition and may be included.

Prenatal & PostNatal Yoga

This class is designed to meet the needs of pregnant women/after delivery and allow them to connect with their babies and their bodies during this special period in their lives. Specific postures are performed with the purpose of connecting with the pelvic floor area, strengthening specific areas of the core and nourishing their bodies as a whole.

Hatha Yoga

A non-vinyasa based asana practice focused on connecting the body and mind with the purpose of increasing awareness and stability.

Restorative Yoga

A healing practice which focuses on opening the body and soothing the mind through gentle poses and the use of props. Students will experience more seated and supine postures and some longer asana holds.

Yin Yoga

A healing practice focused on realigning and stretching the connective tissues of the body. You will experience long held deep stretches with the purpose of connecting with the rhythm of the breath and cultivating a meditative mind.

Yin & Yang Yoga

An asana practice that blends strengthening and softening elements with the purpose of balancing the body. You will experience both, an invigorating practice combined with long held deep stretches to cultivate a focused and meditative mind.

Wheel Yoga

This specialised class combines the use of a yoga wheel with traditional asanas. Designed to open up areas that are typically tight due to modern-day living — the yoga wheel expands the chest and shoulders, stretches the hip flexors and rejuvenates the spine. Practising with the yoga wheel creates a unique overall opening experience.

Mat Pilates

A mat-based functional exercise programme that focuses on strengthening and lengthening the deeper muscles. Focused on building strength without bulk, improving flexibility and agility and helping to prevent injury.

Stability Ball Yoga

 This practice focuses mainly on the core with the help of a stability ball.

Balance Fundamentals with Bosu Ball

In this special class we will focus mainly on arm and core strength.

Detox Yoga

A dynamic practice focusing on stimulating the digestive system with the purpose of aiding the detoxification of the body. Students will experience sequences of poses including twists, bends and stretches that massage the digestive organs.

Non Hot 26 & 31

A non-vinyasa based set sequence practice focused on increasing the flexibility of the spine. 26/31 postures are practised in this sequence with no upper body weight-bearing.

Universal Yoga Mandala

This class follows the tradition developed by Andrey Lappa, which weaves modern western science and ancient eastern wisdom together. Universal Yoga combines the practice of vinyasa with pranayama, visualisation, mantra, mudra and meditation. These elements are carefully sequenced in a symmetrical, progressive and multi-directional manner, making students feel a strong sense of balance and serenity at the end of each class.

Massage Ball Yoga

This class focuses on releasing any tension in your muscles with the help of a massage ball.

Yogalates

This specialised class features a combination of yoga asanas with pilates principles. The practice is focused on postures and exercises that strengthen the core of the body, promote stability and proper posture.

Face Yoga

So we have over fifty facial muscles and face yoga targets certain muscles -the ones that we want to use, engage them. And then the muscles that have been overworked, we want with face yoga to relax those muscles, to release the tension and to stretch the muscles that have been overworked. So not only that, with practicing face yoga, you can expect to see less wrinkles And also, one great thing about yoga is that you will release so much tension from your face

Exercise Adaptations For 50+ Seniors

The importance of exercise and regular physical activity is one of the main determinants of healthy aging. In this practice I will focus on slow pace exercise as well as strengthening.

Barre

Get the best of both worlds by doing the Pilates Barre class. This class is a fusion of the Barre technique and traditional Pilates strength and cardio exercises.

Roller Release

This class focuses on self myofascial release helping participants release tension in the body by massaging away tight knots and improving flexibility and circulation with help of a foam roller.

Sivananda Yoga

This class follows the Sivananda yoga tradition established by Swami Sivananda and spread by the disciple Swami Vishnudevananda. This tradition integrates the 4 paths of Yoga (Karma, Bhakti, Raja and Jnana) and seeks to develop physical and mental as well as spiritual growth. This class comprises Sun Salutations, the 12 traditional Sivananda postures, and a final deep relaxation that allows the body to release unnecessary tensions and integrate the benefits of the physical practice.

Iyengar Yoga

This class follows the tradition developed by B.K.S. Iyengar. The practice emphasizes precision, alignment and safety. Asanas are held for longer periods of time than in other styles with the purpose of allowing the muscles to open and relax; simultaneously promoting focus and awareness in the students. Yoga props such as blocks and straps may be used to aid the understanding of postures and to allow students to perform the asanas safely. This class helps to integrate the mental and physical planes, bringing about a sense of inner and outer balance.

Partner Yoga

This specialised Partner Yoga Class is a fun way to discover the joy of practicing with another. Bring a friend or come by yourself and make a new friend, experience deeper stretches, greater opening and a sense of partnership giving and receiving support from each other.
